SETTING HOME NETWORK
The purpose to setup home netwok are shareing printer, usb harddisk or internet connection. In this case, we will show you how to setup home network with network cable. (Another choice is settping up Home Network with Wi-Fi)
Preparation equipment for Home Network
- Make sure your computer have LAN card installed
- LAN Cable (Network Cable)
- Network Router / Switch
We now assuming you have DSL/Cable connection at home, then you wish to share internet connection with other computers. See the network diagram for how to connect and setting up home network.
Setup Network
Connect “Network Cable” to Router (assume your Router have 4 Ports)
Connect all PC Computer / Laptop to the Router by using “Network Cable”

After setting up network, we need to setup IP Address to be use for Router and all computer. Below is the Basic for setup IP address.
Router setup to IP 192.168.1.1
Each computer setup to IP 192.168.1.2 (first computer)
Setup 192.168.1.3 (second computer)
Setup 193.168.1.4 (third computer)
For more information about Router, is up to the “Brand of Router” However you may be no need to setup all IP address for each computer, because of All Router have DHCP feature. (assigned automatic IP address)
